Our Mission
Langora was founded on a simple principle: to make Ottoman-era historical documents accessible to the global academic community with the highest standards of accuracy and professionalism. We believe that language should be a bridge, not a barrier, to understanding the past. We are committed to providing services that are not only linguistically precise but also historically and culturally informed, empowering researchers, museums, and institutions to unlock the rich tapestry of the Ottoman world.
Our Structure
Our team of volunteers mainly consists of young researchers and academics, which is how we keep our prices affordable. You only pay for administrative costs; your contribution goes directly to running our NGO.
Stichting Langora (KVK: 90724984) is a non-profit foundation based in the Netherlands.
